so stupid

so, as some may or may not know. my supervisors at work realized that the person i replaced didn't, you know, actually work. and that i should probably go part time and lose my benefits. or lose my job.

so, now i work part time. mondays wednesdays and fridays. it fucking blows. but, on the good side, i have tuesdays and thursdays off, and a few unemployed friends. tuesday my bestie david came down from the burbs and i showed him around lincoln square and we went to a sushi buffet, which sounds fairly harmless but let me tell you, it is no joke!

wednesday evening sat and i drank beerz (i broke my no beer until summer pledge, dammit...) and i started to convince him to give me his extra wii. apparently, he's not cool with giving me something he spent $300 on, but i'm pretty persuasive...

now, thursday, i missed my train and stole sat's car and drove to zion to go to the freaking JELLY BELLY FACTORY. but the line was too long for the tour, and david just gave me a grand tour of his hometown and we farted around for 10 or so hours. but! we did go to the giant jellybelly store and scored tons of delicious jelly beans. so delicious. i'm a little bummed we missed the tour, but i will likely go back within the week because i am dying to wear a silly paper hat.. or because david is rad and doesn't mind me making fun of him or not being able to pump my own gas or things like that.
