non cat entry

well that's pretty cute.

i've made it my own little tradition to take a photo of myself sometime around my birthday just to see how i get old and make sure i am alive and all that. unfortunately, i'm so pissy and blah that any photo i take of myself is just plain awful. and i can't bear to look at my giant fat irish head or amazingly thinning hair (new development that is totally fucking weird, since my hair is usually so think).

i was supposed to go out for korean food with some friends, but ended up at home crying (which i wont get into at all). then a few hours later decided it was ghey to feel sorry for myself and my shitty life and got a friend to go to the hungry brain and drown in gin with me.

and we met up with sam who showed up because i had originally planned to have a cupcake and booze party but then canceled it. but i guess i forgot to tell her it was canceled? anyway. it was a really fun time and no doubt took me way out of my massive funk, even for a few hours. so right on.
