there are so many funny, ridiculous things i want to say about what happened last night an eighth of a block from my apartment,

yes, that's a giant sinkhole. it was filled with water up until a few hours ago. i didn't know about it until 6am, as i was a total insomniac and stayed in front of my computer all night listening to records, and finally went to bed and saw it on the news. of course, it was all happening directly out my window. and, luckily, no flood water got into my place. but beans & bagels is fucked. and i don't know what i am supposed to do without them...

so, yea, now there is this giant hole! right there! how do these things happen, i have no idea. and how do they happen right in front of my apartment? it isnt like the block isnt already in bad enough condition, financially, due to the cta being closed for a year, now this.

i hope its not all some massive marketing ploy for "cloverfield".
